Phoenix Security

With the help of local law enforcement, Phoenix has seen a great improvement protecting families.  Local law enforcement however, is still encouraging every home to participate in 3 very important safety features.

  1. Outdoor lighting-  Statistics have proven that as neighborhoods work together to make sure that there is suffecient outdoor lighting, break-ins will occur less.  As scared as you might seem to have an intruder, the intruder is scared of being identified, more so caught.  Visit your local Home Depot or Lowes to see great outdoor lighting options.  With the technology in solar improving, consider getting a solar lamp.  Any Phoenix construction contractor will be happy to help you install it.
  2. Pets- Neighborhoods that have an active dog community also show to have lower amounts of break in activity.  Although most of us know that dogs can be nothing but just a big bark, that is just the bark a neighborhood needs.  Dogs are very territorial, any intruder will be noticed and a sound off of barking could be just the thing to scare someone off.
  3. Alarm Systems- When you go away, you assume that the neighbor is watching your home for you, well that isn’t always the case.  A good alarm system is great for sounding a siren when someone who shouldn’t be there kicks in a door or breaks a window.  When a community works together to each have a security sign in front of their homes, it shows a unity of security.  Security systems are at times the quickest way to notify the authorities of an intrusion.
